Holi is a spring season festival, originated from India, and is also known as Festival of Colours. This festival was formerly initiated from the Hindi origin but now is celebrated by different communities and religions all across India and the Globe. Various people celebrate this festival as they have attached some of their religious myths and stories with this festival.
That’s why like many other festivals which are jointly celebrated by the people of different communities and religions for various reasons such as Diwali, Holi has such a same type of significance. In other words, we may say that Holi is celebrated in different ways by different people for various reasons.

Holi is celebrated on the Phalguna’s month’s Purnima (Full Moon Day). This year Holi festival will be celebrated on 23rd March. Here is a brief overview of How Holi is celebrated?
